Low Carb Counts Mean Better Lives
Perhaps that is a bit extreme, the whole dying thing.
I mean, carb counts? Is that the only things you have to worry about?
Of course not. You have to be crazy to thing that this is a miracle-working scenario.
Sure, carb counts help a bit. But the bigger picture is more than carbs being bad.
You have to look at the whole carb thing through a bigger lens than that. The spin doctors and the money-grubbing bastards out there will tell you anything just to hock another book. Let's stir up a lot of fear about carbs, so that people are convinced that they cannot eat any of them anymore. Let's play on Americans' collective paranoia and their desire to latch on to whatever the newest trend is. We are collectively a bunch of suckers and these diet "gurus" know it. Here, try out this fancy carb counter for a low, low price of $79.99, they say! What a deal! That way you can actually track your carbohydrate intake, and don't have to do the actual work that a pen and paper requires. What a waste of time that would be. Heaven forbid you eat any carbs and have energy, or a functional immune system or gastrointestinal tract. Shame on you for even insinuating that there is an alternative to low carb diets. What are you even thinking, you crazy bastard? Are you blasphemous in all facets of your life, or just this? What is your problem?
You have to be a little realistic when it comes to this kind of thing. Sure, a little carb counting is good.
But it's not going to solve your problems altogether. You are still going to need good carbs, and exercise.
Regular exercise. Like 30 minutes a day, even if it's moderate. That is better than nothing.
So keep those carb counts low, and temper your expectations. It's a marathon, not a sprint.
