	<title>Carbs</title>
	<description>
Carbs and their effect on our health is one of the hottest topics today. All of the diets that concentrated on the intake and restriction of carbs may have lost some of their appeal, but the issue of carbs is still in the news. Many of the things that we thought about carbs were half-truths at best, but thanks to all of the research that has been done, many of the questions are being answered and the half-truths have been debunked.

These are the antithesis of bad carbs.

There is still some work to do and some questions left to be answered, but there has been a lot of headway made, which has resulted in more information about how to diet in a way that benefits our overall health. As carbs are making somewhat of a comeback, we can now eat good carbs, hooray!

Rethinking Carbs
As dieters who are interested in their health as well as maintaining an ideal body weight, we can now concentrate less on counting carbs and more on the type of carbs that we are eating. The amount that you eat depends on how physically active you are on a daily basis and can only be determined by that. But, we should all be eating only the complex, or good carbs.

They are essential to proper functioning of the body and are a main source of energy for us. We need to be healthy more than we need to lose a few pounds, and although your weight loss may be solely for health reasons, it is better for you to make a few changes in your diet that you will adhere to forever and lose the weight slowly.

Lots more to say about Carbs
This is the only way that anyone can actually keep the weight off. Aren't we all fed up with all the diets that make claims that they cannot back up? When will we realize that we need to make changes in our life in order to change our life and that they will not come from a pill or a two-week fast weight loss diet plan? If these things were easy everyone would be doing them, but the reward of a job well done and knowing that you has accomplished your goal because of how hard you worked is worth it. If you want to eat mainly foods that have low carbs make sure that those carbs count and are the "good" kind.
